Why it’s a great moment: It’s nothing special for the Joker to kill somebody. He kills people all the time. It’s like eating or taking shit for the rest of us.
But this one was special, for two major reasons: 1) It was a Robin, even though it was the terrible one and 2) he was doing what the people demanded. More than 10,000 people called a 1-900 number and paid a dollar to (mostly) tell him kill the little bastard.
Who knew the Joker would be such a fan of democracy? For that, we salute him.
